2027 CWG Assistant Coach Application Open

Dear Coaches and Community Members,

Ringette PEI is pleased to announce that we are now accepting applications for the Assistant Coach position for the 2027 Canada Winter Games! Click here for the application form 

The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting Head Coaches Scott Fisher and Marion Dowling, working alongside a committed team to represent Prince Edward Island on the national stage.

Minimum Application Requirements:

• Coaching experience at the high performance level 

• Certified Competition-Development Coach

• Completed Making Head Way in Sport module

• Respect in Sport for Activity Leaders OR Safe Sport module from CAC

• Actively coached in at least 1 of the past 3 seasons

• Member in good standing with Ringette PEI (or another Ringette PSO)

If not already Competition-Development certified, the selected coach must commit to completing:

• Required Multi-Sport Modules (Developing Athletic Abilities, Psychology of Performance, etc.)

• Ringette Sport-Specific Training (Planning a Practice, Technical/Tactical Analysis)

• A completed Portfolio for full certification
