We recognize the important dates for softball and will make every effort to avoid scheduling conflicts.

Wave and Edge Tryouts:

Athletes planning to attend the Wave program tryouts will be required to pay a $100 fee. This fee guarantees two ice times before cuts are made for the Wave program, followed by two ice times with the Edge program. Depending on the number of athletes in each age division, cuts may occur at different ice times, but not before two ice times have taken place. Athletes interested only in the Edge program tryouts will be required to pay a $60 fee, which guarantees two ice times. Additionally, there will be opportunities for athletes to participate in seminars on nutrition, physical strength, and mental strength at no additional cost.

House League Opt-Out:

For the 2024-2025 season,

  • U14 aged athletes, born in 2011 or 2012, will be required to play on a house league team with their local association.
  • First-year U16-aged athletes, born in 2010, will be required to play on a house league team with their local association.
  • Second-year U16-aged athletes, born in 2009, will have the option to opt-out of house league if they choose or they can play both house league and high performance.
  • U19 aged athletes, born 2008, 2007, and 2006, will have the option to opt-out of house league if they choose or they can play both house league and high performance.

Additionally, all athletes who try out for the high-performance teams this year will be eligible to attend physical, mental, and nutrition training as part of their registration fee. They will be permitted to attend these sessions even if they do not make the team. These sessions are valuable for continued athlete excellence!

We are excited to see what the upcoming season has to bring!
